AUGUST REHEARSALS

 All Students who will be in the AHS Orchestras for the 2010-2011 School Year need to attend!

Tuesday August 17 and Thursday August 19   -   6:00p – 9:00p

· Refreshments during Break

· Get to know everyone in all groups!

· The Program

The Nationally recognized Alpharetta High School orchestra program was established in the fall of 2004, at the same time the school first opened its doors. Since then, the program has swelled to accomodate three orchestras and nearly two hundred members. Dedicated to instructing students in the musical arts as well as inspiring them to become active members in the community, the Alpharetta High School Orchestras strive for excellence in music education at the high school level.

· Honors

+ Performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, NY

+ Performed at the Midwest Orchestra Convention in Chicago, IL

+ Performed as an Honor Group at the ASTA National Convention in Atlanta, GA
